Standing 76 centimeters tall, it embodies the majesty of the paon motif. Sculpted with extreme precision, every detail of the peacock's feathers is highlighted by the interplay of light inherent to the crystal paste. The base, also crafted using the lost-wax casting method by a master bronze sculptor, is enhanced by a blue patina that echoes the new cabochons. The Magnum vase from the Exotic Peacock Flower collection is a limited edition of 25 pieces. Each piece requires nearly 480 hours of work to create. The larger vase offers this aesthetic in a more accessible version, while retaining the chromatic richness and meticulous sculpting for which Daum is renowned. A true floral sculpture, this piece combines sculptural forms and luminous colors to create a composition that is both harmonious and vibrant. Three hundred hours of work are required to create this exceptional piece. The centerpiece, another iconic piece in the collection, is distinguished by its generous dimensions and strong presence at the heart of a space. Produced in a limited edition of 99, it showcases a new color variation with vegetal tones, enriched by a touch of bright blue. The polished cabochons, varied textures, and luminous finish once again demonstrate the exacting standards and precision of the master glassmakers at Cristallerie Daum. Each piece is the result of a complex process requiring seven manufacturing steps and eight to ten days of firing (depending on the piece) in the factory's kilns, before the final finishing and signature.
