The artist notably created a series of orchids so detailed they appeared almost real. This collection popularized the \"illusion flower\" in the luxury sector. To refine his art and make it ever more realistic and poetic, the man who became known as \"the floral sculptor\" also worked in the United States and Japan, where he studied ikebana. Among his most famous creations, Emilio Robba conceived the \"draped vase.\" This vase first appeared at the Natural History Museum in Paris in 1984, for the orchid exhibition he himself organized.
