A French painter and sculptor, Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle was born in 1952 in Meknès, Morocco. She studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Pau and spent two years at the Phnom- Penh Fine Arts faculty in Cambodia. Her works are a passionate tribute to grace and femininity. She draws, sculpts, then transforms women into bronze, producing curved figures of expressive gentleness that emanate a sense of contemplation and inner strength. Since 2005, Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle has been collaborating with Daum, transposing her works into crystal sculptures of evident harmony and of great beauty.
