The floral sculptor is in the spotlight at Maison Daum.

A true dialogue of love with nature, this line offers
Sculptures of exceptional realism, crafted with dazzling ancestral expertise by the artisans of the renowned Daum crystalworks on Place Stanislas. For several years, Daum has collaborated with acclaimed artists, including Emilio Robba. Nicknamed "the floral sculptor," he notably conceived the famous "draped vase," which delicately and elegantly imitates fabric enveloping plant stems. This piece was created in 1984 for an orchid exhibition organized by Robba himself at the Natural History Museum in Paris. Born in Italy in 1944, Emilio Robba studied painting and sculpture at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris before becoming an expert in floral art. From the very beginning of his career, he created works of exceptional realism and extraordinary refinement. His brand has evolved to become synonymous with luxury and excellence worldwide, but the sculptor continues to seek inspiration wherever it may be found. He trained, for example, in ikebana in Japan, a traditional art of flower arranging.

Throughout his career, the artist has collaborated with Pierre Cardin and opened boutiques in Paris, Miami, and New York. Daum has also been one of his preferred partners for many years, showcasing his exceptionally beautiful works, enhanced by extraordinary craftsmanship.

Monstera, an immersion in the heart of exuberant and eternal nature

Internationally renowned as a floral designer and sculptor of botanical atmospheres, Emilio Robba conceived the Monstera collection in collaboration with the Daum crystalworks. This collection is dedicated to the iconic tropical leaf with its distinctive veins and unmistakable cuts, here captured in crystal as if suspended in time. The bowls and wall-mounted leaves are adorned with subtle colors: a deep green, a mineral gray, and a milky white. This palette of tones creates a chromatic diversity suitable for all styles, from the most contemporary to the most organic. Each piece is produced in a limited, numbered edition, crafted from pâte de cristal using Daum's century-old expertise. The artisans sculpt each vein, each movement, each fold with exceptional care and passion, imbuing the pieces with a powerful emotional intensity. Monstera captures the essence of tropical foliage in pâte de cristal and elevates it with vibrant hues that seem to bring it to life. The collection evokes an exuberant nature made eternal, crystallized to defy the ephemeral. These plant sculptures transform into art objects, both decorative and poetic. The wall-mounted leaves and bowls with their subtle reflections invite themselves into interior design like a breath of nature.

With Monstera , Daum and Emilio Robba reinvent the plant world through the prism of crystal, giving birth to refined pieces.
