The contemporary spirit of crystal
URBAN art
Each sculpture becomes a metaphor for the contemporary world: dynamic, vibrant, and constantly evolving. Through its collaborations with contemporary artists, Daum translates the spirit of graffiti, collage, and graphic design into art crystal. Volumes deconstruct, textures clash, and colors ignite. The Daum workshop, heir to a century-old know-how, dialogues here with the visual language of the 21st century, creating a bridge between heritage and innovation. These urban art works in crystal are much more than sculptures: they embody the rhythm of our time, where matter becomes light and art becomes an experience.

Jérôme Mesnager and Daum
Since 2009, the collaboration between Jérôme Mesnager and the Maison Daum has celebrated a unique encounter between urban art and the excellence of craftsmanship. Creator in 1983 of the mythical figure of "The Man in White," a symbol of light, life, and hope, Jérôme Mesnager has imprinted this universal silhouette on walls around the world. With Daum, he translates this language of street art into the noble material of crystal, offering his character a new poetic and timeless dimension. From this alliance have emerged several powerful and vibrant works, such as "The Man in White," and the colorful bas-reliefs of the "Love Dance" series. Each piece combines the delicacy of the drawing with the movement of the crystal paste, sometimes smooth, sometimes rough, reminiscent of the texture of wood or the walls he favors—being a trained cabinetmaker. The work then becomes a message, suspended between shadow and light, between crystalline transparency and the intensity of the pigments. In the pieces enhanced with brushstrokes, the artist's hand is fully expressed, affirming the uniqueness of each work. "Love Dance" thus becomes a celebration of life, movement, and freedom.
