Cattleya by Emilio Robba

Emilio Robba is forging ahead with his Art deco-inspired, orchid-adorned floral creations that made him famous.
The Cattleya Collection immerses us in an exotic world, with echoes of the Amazon – the origin of the Cattleya. The careful attention paid to the details of the purple flower confers these pieces with stunning realism.
The Cattleya is the most beautiful specimen of the orchid due to the size of its petals and the richness of its colours. The name, Cattleya, comes from the British horticulturalist, Cattleya, who discovered the flower by chance in 1818 in moss present in a case sent from Brazil. The orchid, dearly loved by Marcel Proust, symbolises passionate love, seduction and mystery.
