The animal world at Maison Daum: a celebration of wildlife

The animal world of Daum extends from the most familiar animals to mythological creatures .

In the animal world of the Crystal Factory, the horse occupies a special place , as evidenced by the many collections dedicated to it, from the Cavalcade collection to the Fiery Horse collection, not to mention some more dreamlike representations, such as the Winged Horses collection.

Leopards, panthers, lions, tigers: felines are also very well represented in the animal world of Maison Daum. These different collections truly embody the power and majesty of wild fauna , with rich colors and meticulous details perfectly revealing the technical mastery of the artisans of Nancy.

The tiger collections , including the Bengal Tiger and the Horoscope editions, explore the majesty of this majestic feline. The monkey sculptures , such as the Three Wise Monkeys, convey universal messages of prudence and reflection through the crystalline material. The limited edition pieces , such as the Serpent Vase or the Blue Naja, demonstrate the Maison Daum's commitment to offering only exclusive works.

Beyond mere realistic representation, Daum Crystal also draws inspiration from legends and myths surrounding animals, offering poetic and symbolic interpretations of them. For example, certain felines are presented as if they were guardians of a secret world. The manufacturer also offers several collections featuring mythological animals such as dragons or unicorns.

These artistic choices allow Maison Daum to create a vibrant dialogue between nature and the imagination , with each animal becoming both a subject of admiration and a source of inspiration.

An animal world expressing a great diversity of species and symbols.

Beyond the great predators, Daum pays homage to a multitude of species, from the most familiar to the most exotic. Through its numerous collections inspired by the animal world , the crystal maker aims to illustrate the diversity of the animal kingdom , from eagles to ducklings, including ducks, cats, owls, swans, elephants, hippos, dromedaries, bears, peacocks, butterflies, parakeets and even tree frogs.

The Glassworks also offers many collections inspired by the marine world , through which all the beauty and richness of the seabed are expressed, whether in the Carpes Gold collection or in the Mer de Corail collection.

Directly inspired by Asian astrology , the Horoscope collections celebrate the symbolic power of animals , such as the buffalo, goat, dog, pig, rooster, rabbit, bull, or rat. Above all, these are refined works of art, but these sculptures also embody all the meanings linked to the beliefs of different cultures surrounding these animals.

Through these collections, Daum does not merely reproduce nature, but interprets, magnifies, and immortalizes it in crystal . Each sculpture thus becomes an invitation to contemplate the beauty of the animal world frozen in crystalline matter.
