Inspired by the creative spirit of Art Nouveau, Rêve Équestre embodies the poetic fusion between nature and form, dear to the House. The taut lines, the nervous musculature and the rearing posture of the horse capture this a moment of balance between tension and lightness.
The crystal, worked in...orangey and amber hues, becomes living light, revealing in its transparencies the volumes and details of a magnified animal. This collection, as dreamlike as it is technical, is a vibrant tribute to sculpture in motion, an ode to grace tamed by art.
Each piece in the Rêve Équestre collection is the result of ancestral know-how, passed down through generations in our Nancy workshops. From the initial clay sculpting to the crystal casting, the process rigorously follows the steps of the lost-wax casting method, a precious technique that gives each piece total uniqueness. The hand-worked crystal reveals details of remarkable fineness, from the meticulously chiseled harnesses to the braided manes.
The artisans of Daum leave nothing to chance. The flamboyant hues, which are a signature of this collection, are obtained through carefully measured mixtures of pigments and minerals, whose reactions to heat produce these characteristic warm reflections. Each relief is emphasized and each line is amplified by the interplay of light and shadow, transforming the vase into a living sculpture.

Composed of three vases of different sizes, Rêve Équestre continues the tradition of the House's major thematic collections, where each piece tells a story. The large vase, monumental and solemn, imposes a strong, almost architectural presence. The intermediate model is more contemplative, while the smallest piece offers a more intimate intensity, ideal for carefully chosen spaces.
In each creation, the spirit of the horse reveals itself in subtle detail: sometimes statuesque, sometimes flamboyant.
