In 2024, Daum brings to life a creation as daring as it is emotive: Punky Fish , a work born from the imagination of the artist and culinary photographer Patrick Rougereau. Initially conceived for a stylized gastronomic photograph of a sea bream, adorned with real white and gold feathers, this phantasmagorical fish is now a sculpture in crystal paste, in an exceptional edition signed Daum.

With his unique artistic vision, Patrick Rougereau transcends the boundaries between culinary art, photography, and sculpture. With Punky Fish , he stylizes the world of gastronomy to reveal a dreamlike, refined, and luxurious version. Returning to the origins of the manufacture, Plum'ky is made of glass paste and not crystal paste. This is the culmination of many years of research to offer our customers a product whose colors, density, and appearance are as close as possible to the current material, while respecting the evolution of environmental standards and European regulations. The feather is gilded with gold leaf, is a delicate piece to display, ideal for table or shelf decoration, and an excellent gift option for the end of the year. The white & gold colors evoke the spirit of Christmas. This product does not have food certification due to the gold leaf gilding. However, our customers notice no difference, as the manufacturing process remains unchanged and the characteristics of the glass paste remain very close to those of crystal paste, and the whole is signed with the artist's initials.
