Description

The Large Vase Rose Royale Red and Gold 50 ex is the latest addition to the Rose Royale collection, which was unveiled by Daum in tribute to one of its most iconic motifs. Produced in a limited edition of just 50 pieces, it offers a particularly precious and striking interpretation of the rose, a major source of inspiration for the House since the late 19th century. Inspired by the French art of living and the elegance of royal gardens, this vase features a refined floral composition in which the roses seem to bloom directly from the material. The introduction of a vibrant, intense red gives the creation a deeper, more passionate expression of the floral theme, while still retaining the delicacy and sophistication that characterize the Rose Royale universe.

The crystal paste is adorned with luminous red hues that capture the light and reveal every detail with intensity. Enhanced by hand-applied gold leaf finishes, the material is transformed into a composition rich in contrasts, where the warmth of the red is offset by the precious brilliance of the gold. The interplay of transparency and light accentuates the depth of the floral design, giving the whole piece a textile-like dimension, as if it were a precious embroidery frozen in crystal. An eternal symbol of love, the rose has been the icon of the House of Daum since the late 19th century. Reinvented every decade by artists of the crystalworks, it is the subject of several collections. In September 2023, the Maison writes a new chapter in this floral legend with the The Rose Royale line, an ode to light, femininity, and virtuosity handcrafted.

Exceptional expertise

The Rose Royale line stands out from other collections dedicated to roses because of their warm colors, pink, orange and yellow, but also because the shapes of the petals. Indeed, while the flowers in the Rose Passion lines or Eternal Rose faithfully reproduce the details of each corolla, Rose Royale's seem perpetually in motion, like wrapped in precious silk. Each cup, each vase, appears draped in a sublime fabric, adorned with roses in various shades refined and luminous.
